Is it the battery?
Signs of a dead or weak battery: the engine cranks slowly or only clicks, the dash lights are dim or flicker, or nothing happens at all when you turn the key or press start. If the engine cranks at normal speed but won't fire, the battery is probably fine and the problem is somewhere else.
